Aproximadamente 50 mil anos atrás, um meteorito de aproximadamente 45 metros viajando a 40 mil km/h caiu neste lugar gerando uma força equivalente a uma bomba de hidrogênio e deixando uma cratera de um quilômetro de diâmetro por 200 metros de profundidade.
